Spec Sheet & Install Instructions

  • Proudly made in Idaho (yes that is a state in America). We craft this material out of true reclaimed lumber.
  • Solid wood, 100% recycled, previously used lumber boards new manufactured and remilled by Reclaimed Lumber Products for you to install as interior features walls and accent ceilings.
  • Normally this wood paneling ships within three days of ordering! In stock. Priced for free shipping to commercial addresses and greatly discounted rates to residential.
  • Lightweight and simple to install on existing walls. Sliced thin for ease of install around outlets and baseboards.
  • All straight sides make fast and easy installation. No lap profile on edges allows for faster install and better yield on product. Your 90 degree cut in the field is the same as ours so no complicated work trying to mate profiles or struggle to get tight joints.
  • Readily accepts stain and finish so you can customize to your preferences.
  • No complex tools needed for installation. Basic carpentry tools required such as saw, hammer and finish nails or brad nail gun, tape measure, caulking gun with construction adhesive, painting tools, etc.

  • Any combination of softwood species.
  • Overall thickness is .350" with tolerances of 1/16" thinner. Sanded on backside for consistent thickness. Front face has bandsawn texture. 
  • Consistent widths of 5" only. This material has been ripped to this consistent width.
  • Ends are square cut and defected.
  • Original patina face is not overly old or weathered looking. More solid and sound material rather than extremely old, weathered, brittle and cracked.
  • Color is mixed blend of honey brown to grey.
  • Edges fresh straight cut with no profile. Material is square cut on ends.
  • Shipped as individual boards of random lengths and packaged together in boxes that are 8' long.
  • Some checking and cracks present but less then most reclaimed wood such as corral boards or old barn lumber.
  • Nail holes and open knots in some pieces.
  • Product is shipped with no stain or finish on it.
  • Recommended adhesive is PL brand for installation over plywood or OSB. Always acclimate paneling to conditions before install and store in dry place.
  • Decorate quickly and easily with reclaimed color and texture on a wall. Not meant for exterior applications or flooring.
  • Kiln dried. No fill in loose knots or nail holes.
  • Weighs about .85 pounds per square foot on average.
  • Priced by the square foot of material shipped. Note RLP makes no representation as to how much material a customer needs. It's up to the customer to measure job accurately and order the correct amount of material based on intended installation. Usually, 10% extra should be ordered for a waste factor. (For example, if you have a wall that is 20 long and 8 feet high you probably should order at least 176 square feet 20 x 8 x 1.1 = 176) Installation method and pattern could cause waste higher than 10%. We do not guarantee the quantity of material on coverage; we sell it by the square foot of material delivered. Future orders will be charged at the quantity ordered at the time of each individual order.

  • The quantity of material in total square feet that you order made according to specifications in this listing; there are not necessarily equal or specific quantities in linear or square foot terms for each width. Shipped as random length individual boards combined in cardboard boxes of various sizes up to 100 sf per box depending on total quantity ordered. The customer should include extra in their total to cover a waste factor. Smaller and more complicated jobs have a higher waste factor.
  • Note this product has no guarantee for specific ratios of colors or lengths. This is a completely random blend and will vary from the pictures and from batch to batch.

  • Solid wood paneling is sold as is.  It matches the specifications provided here, but there is nothing to warranty on the natural, solid wood.
  • Not for exterior or structural use- Intended for interior dry, climate controlled applications only over plywood or OSB substrate.  Wood is kiln dried to 6-8% moisture content; if ambient moisture is higher than that acclimate prior to installation.
  • All products sold by RLP are non-refundable and non-returnable since most are made to order.
