  • Proudly made in the USA. Nature left her mark on the antique lumber that came from Idaho farms, and then it was milled and fabricated into your door by the craftsman in our shop.
  • Available to be custom built for you with a quick turnaround and nearly an unlimited range of sizes.
  • This door is completely assembled and glued together with our highest quality constructions techniques used on our solid wood stile and rail doors. We build our own engineered stave cores with reclaimed lumber so that you have a door made with recycled materials. This combined with dowels plus mortise and tenon joinery assures the slab will stay flat and stable for years.
  • This door is not a kit like sold by a number of other companies that requires assembly on your end. Door slab will arrive assembled and sanded ready for you to stain or finish. A number of other barn doors sold today are not made with components that will not prevent warping like our engineered design.  Also many are made from cheaper woods and have faux finishes. This door is made with real, antique lumber, and it is built to last! We reiterate that this is real, solid wood door intended for heavy-duty interior use and is not an imitation sliding door. This is true door that doesn't have just one side meant to be visible; both faces of this door slab are the same and meant be viewed from both sides.
  • You can use this door slab as a barn door slider or mount it on a jamb with hinges as a stile & rail architectural swing door.
  • Match this door slab with our similar Idaho Barnwood Blend Wall Paneling; they make a perfect compliment to each other.
  • Normally this barn door slab ships within 1 to 2 weeks of ordering!
  • Multiple doors ordered at the same time receive a $500 discount after normal price on first. Also contact us for discounts if paying with a check or doing very large door packages.
  • Save money by combining this door slab with one of our track hardware kits for an additional $85 discount. Buy your barn door and sliding track hardware from RLP for a one-stop solution and quick turnaround.

  • Door sizes up to 42" wide typically have 1 3/4" thick frames and 3/4" thick panels. Vertical stile member of the frame is 5" wide, horizontal top rail 4 7/8" wide, bottom rail is 8 7/8" wide, and horizontal panel planks are random width.
  • Door sizes over 42" wide typically have 2 1/4" thick frames and 3/4" thick panels. Vertical stile member of the frame is 6" wide, horizontal top rail 6 7/8" wide, bottom rail is 8 7/8" wide, and horizontal panel planks are random width.
  • Refer to our track hardware directions, but usually, you should order your door at least 3" wider than your trimmed opening and 1" taller to work as a sliding wood door. You should play with the size options when pricing our doors because sometimes just a little change in size makes a big difference in price.
  • Single wood panel 3/4" thick done with random width individual board planks run in the horizontal direction and joined with tongue and groove, v grooves in the panel. All doors up to 5' wide are done with a single panel. Door sizes wider than 5' have a vertical dividing rail that makes it a two-panel door with each panel full height of the door. Please refer to this article on sizing extra wide barn doors for helpful hints. As a rule of thumb if you order a door that is wider than 48", it is usually a better value to order two smaller slabs that add up to your required dimension but they ship individually and you can join them together at installation to function as a single door.
  • All frames have a solid wood engineered stave core made entirely from reclaimed lumber.
